Park (a.k.a. RG&E Field) NORTH WINTON VILLAGE SAFETY CENTER The North Winton Village Neighborhood Safety Center on 1933 Main Street has become the anchor of the East Main Street neighborhood revitalization efforts, trusted by neighbors, police, organizations and businesses, tenants and landlords in the area. The City of Rochester, PathStone, North Winton Village, NeighborWorks Rochester, the NBN Public Safety Committee and the Third Annual North Winton Village Festival of the Arts committee use the Safety Center for their meetings to ensure a neighborhood connection on East Main Street. The North Winton Village Safety Committee open to the public meets weekly every Thursday, at 11:30 am. North Winton Village is collaborating with NeighborWorks Rochester, staffperson, Katrina Hanson with their Healthy Blocks Project in the East Main Street area. Our City Council Respresenative, Elaine Spaull, County Legislature, Carrie Andrews, City School Board Commissioner, Melisza Campos have consulted with North Winton Village regarding our issues on East Main Street helping to build trust with the residents, tenants, neighbors, landlords and businesses and city officers. The Rochester Police Department Pac Tac, North Edge Neighborhood Association, East High School, The Center for Youth, Neighbors Building Neighborhoods, Browncroft Neighborhood Association, RGRTA Browncroft Baptist Church have partnered with North Winton Village on many safety and quality of life issues.
